What surfaces can your silicone sealants be applied to?
Our sealants bond to most common construction materials, including glass, metal, concrete, brick, ceramic, natural stone and certain plastics. Always test a small area for compatibility.
How should I prep surfaces before applying silicone sealant?
Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of oil or debris. Avoid soaps or detergents that may leave residue.
Can silicone be applied in cold or wet conditions?
Many of our products are rated for application in temperatures as low as 20°F (-6°C), but always check the technical data sheet. Silicone won’t bond well to wet surfaces unless it’s a moisture-tolerant formula.
What is the typical cure time for your silicone sealants?
Most of our sealants skin over in 10–30 minutes and cure fully in 24–48 hours, depending on thickness, humidity, and temperature.
